WyCo Energy is part of Colorado Equipment and Colorado Machinery, a John Deere Agricultural and Construction dealership group based in Colorado and Wyoming. Our roots started in 1926 at Holly, Colorado as Romer Mercantile, a John Deere Agricultural dealership. In the 1960's, a second location in Lamar was added and together they were named Romer Young Mercantile. Bruce Young and Roy Romer entered into the John Deere construction equipment business in Fort Collins, Pueblo and Colorado Springs in 1967. Twenty-seven years later, these locations combined to form Colorado Machinery, a company that exists today as four locations along the Front Range of Colorado. In 2006, Colorado Equipment was formed and has grown to eight agricultural locations serving customers in Colorado and Wyoming. Today, there are twelve locations serving the agriculture, turf, and construction markets in Eastern Colorado. In 2009, WyCo Energy was formed to supply wind energy, through the Harvest the Wind Network, to our customers who want to control energy costs and improve the environment over time.
WyCo Energy is the exclusive distributor for wind power turbines in Colorado and Wyoming. We provide small to mid size wind energy solutions to residential, agricultural, commercial, and educational customers.
